The carnauba palm or carnaubeira palm (Copernicia prunifera) is a species of palm tree native to northeastern Brazil.

Taxonomically it belongs to the subfamily Coryphoideae, tribe Corypheae, subtribe Livistoninae.

It is the source of carnauba wax, which is harvested from the coating on the leaves of the tree.
