Carmarthenshire East (UK Parliament constituency)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Carmarthenshire East was a parliamentary constituency in Wales which returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
It was created for the 1885 general election, when the old two-member Carmarthenshire constituency was divided into two new single-member seats: Carmarthenshire East and Carmarthenshire West, both of which were in turn abolished for the 1918 general election.
