Carlyon Bellairs

Commander Carlyon Wilfroy Bellairs (15 March 187122 August 1955) was a British naval commander and a member of the British parliament.

Bellairs was Member of Parliament (MP) for King's Lynn from 1906 until January 1910. He was elected as a Liberal but defected to the Unionists (Conservatives) in 1909. At a by-election in 1915, he was returned as MP for Maidstone, and held the seat until the 1931 election.

He was also a member of the Coefficients dining club of social reformers set up in 1902 by the Fabian campaigners Sidney and Beatrice Webb.
