[edit] History

The school began as an infants school in 1922 to cope with the increasing population of the local St. George area. In August 1922, the first lessons began, but was not officially opened until 1924, and started the enrollments of primary pupils. Over the next few years, the facilities increased and by 1933, the school was able to cope with the number of enrollments.

[edit] Gala Day

In the past many years, the school organises an annual Gala Day setted up by students and teachers to raise money for the Year Six Farewell; some well-known stalls were the Badge & Magnet Stall, the Pre-Loved Toys and the Face Paints.
