Carlos Espejel Leguizano (born April 21, 1972) is a Mexican telenovela actor and comedian, best known for his roles as "Chiquidrácula" (1982-1987) and "Carlinflas" (1982-2006)

Espejel started his artistic career at an early age. In 1981 started acting in the show "Alegrías de Mediodía". In 1982 the kids show "Chiquilladas" was first aired, and Espejel played his most know roles as:

  • Chiquidrácula
A vampire-kid who always finds in trouble. His common phrase is "Les va a dar mucho mello" ("mello" referring to miedo) ("Feer" is gonna get you)
  • Carlinflas
A parody as a kid of great Mexican comedian Cantinflas. The name "Carlinflas" is obviusly derived from his real name, Carlos. This character was still played by him until 2006 in the show "El Privilegio de Mandar" despite "Chiquilladas" ended in 1987

He has appeared in many telenovelas (soup operas) like "Quinceañera" (Fifteen years teenager), "Amor en Silencio" (Love in silence), "Morir Para Vivir" (Dying for Living) and "Vivo Por Elena" (I live because of Elena)

In May 2004 he entered the reality show Big Brother VIP 3 but he was eliminated near the final. Soon after he participated on the TV show "Día de Perros: el peor día de tu vida" (the worst day of your life)

He began acting in "La Parodia" for "El Privilegio de Mandar" parody in 2004 and remained all the show until its end in July 9, 2006.
