Carlo Mazzacurati, an Itanlian film director and screenwriter, was born March 3, 1956 in Padua), Italy. He was the son of engineer and auto racing driver Mario Mazzacurati. He started his cinema career in 1980.

Some of his better known movies are: Il Toro (1994) and La lingua del santo (2000).
