Carla Geurts

Carla Louise Maria Geurts (born April 20, 1971 in Geldrop, Noord-Brabant) is a former freestyle swimmer from Holland, who won three silver medals during her career at the European Swimming Championships. She retired in 2001, after the 2001 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka. Geurts lives in Canada, where she married swimming coach Andrew Cole in 2003. As of 2006, Geurts she is currently a professor of Kinesiology at Brock University, in St. Catharines, Ontario.
