Carl von Donop

Count Carl Emil von Donop (died October 25, 1777) was a Hessian Colonel who fought in the American Revolutionary War. Donop commanded the Grenadier Battalions of Hesse-Kassel.

He was fatally wounded attempting the capture of Fort Mercer in Red Bank, New Jersey, and died three days later on October 25, 1777.
