Carl Powell

Carl Powell (born January 04, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American football player who currently plays defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals. He played two seasons as a starting DE for the University of Louisville after transferring from Grand Rapids Community College. He was drafted in the 1997 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round (156th overall). In 1999, he played for the Rhein Fire in NFL Europe, then was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. Then played with the Chicago Bears and the Washington Redskins.
