Carl Nyrén (born 1917) is a Swedish architect. Nyrén was initially influenced by Gunnar Asplund's modernism, and later, in the 1960's, developed towards a structuralistic architecture. In the last twenty years, his buildings have been characterized by a romantic, humanistic style. Though Nyrén himself is now retired, his office, Nyréns Arkitektkontor AB, remains one of Sweden's leading archictectural firms.
