Carl Kurlander is an American television producer. He is best known for his extensive work on American teen sitcoms and has served as co-producer Peter Engel on a number of programmes including Saved by the Bell, Hang Time, USA High and Malibu, CA. He also wrote St. Elmo's Fire.

He is currently working as a part time professor at the University of Pittsburgh.
