Carl Brewer

Carl Thomas Brewer (Born October 21, 1938 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Died August 25, 2001 in Toronto) was a Canadian ice hockey defenseman.

Brewer started his career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1958. He would also play with the Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues. He would win three Stanley Cups with Toronto in 1962, 1963 and 1964. In 1991 He was a major factor in the court case that saw Alan Eagleson convicted and sent to prison for racketeering, fraud and embezzling. Brewer passed away on August 25, 2001, in Toronto, at the age of 62 following a battle with respiratory problems.
