Carfin railway station is situated at the north eastern end of the village of Carfin,North Lanarkshire, Scotland and is adjacent to the village of Newarthill. It is 22 km (14 miles) south east of Glasgow Central railway station (High Level) on the Shotts Line between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

It contains two platforms; one for trains in the direction of Glasgow, and the other for trains to Edinburgh Waverley.

Trains from Carfin station provides an hourly service to the heart of Glasgow, stopping along the way at Holytown, Bellshill, Uddingston and Cambuslang. There is no Sunday service.
