Carey Mercer

Carey Mercer is a Canadian musician best known for his work as lead singer of the indie rock band Frog Eyes. He also recently released an album with the side project Swan Lake, titled Beast Moans. Also in Swan Lake are Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade and Dan Bejar of Destroyer. Mercer is also the sole member of Blackout Beach. Under this moniker he released the album Light Flows the Putrid Dawn through Soft Abuse Records in 2004. He is currently at work on a follow-up to the album, which is to be released in 2007.
