From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are vocational organizations primarily based in high schools. Often, on the state level, they are integrated into Departments of Education or incorporated as non-profit organizations. Many states define CTSOs as "integral parts" of the high school education program.
Some major CTSOs include:
- Business Professionals of America (BPA)
- DECA (formerly Distributive Education Clubs of America)
- Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
- Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda
- National FFA Organization (formerly Future Farmers of America)
- SkillsUSA
- Technology Student Association (TSA)
- Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)
