Caroline Kawa (born 1986 in Toronto, Canada), also known as Care Failure is the lead singer and guitar player for Toronto's Alternative Rock / sleaze rock band Die Mannequin.

[edit] Biography

Caroline left her parents' home at 16 in 2002 and began a long journey with hard drugs while, from 2004 to 2006, singing and playing guitar for a four-piece band named The Bloody Mannequins.[1]

With the help of producer Harry Hess, she got sober and signed to EMI Records in 2006 without having a permanent band and recorded an EP under the name Die Mannequin playing every instrument but the drums.[2] [3]

Her vocal style is a cross between Avril Lavigne, Fefe Dobson, Brody Dalle and Joan Jett and her looks is also reminiscent of them.
