Carasco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 35 km east of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,420 and an area of 8.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Carasco contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Pietro, Santa Maria, Rivarola, Graveglia, and Paggi.
Carasco borders the following municipalities: Chiavari, Cogorno, Leivi, Mezzanego, Ne, San Colombano Certénoli.
