Captain of her Heart was a hit single for Swiss band Double in 1986. The song was released on their album Blue and became an instant success. The song is a very easy-going, jazzy style ballad with a reappearing piano, a smooth baritone voice, a saxophone and a steady drum beat. The song's lyrics speak about a girl who is having a tough time sleeping waiting for her true love or "The Captain of Her Heart" to arrive. The song was written in 1986 by both Felix Haug and Kurt Maloo a year before the band's disbandment.
