Capriana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 30 km northeast of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 589 and an area of 13.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Capriana contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Carbonare, Maso Bait, Maso Doss, and Maso Lio.
Capriana borders the following municipalities: Montan-Montagna, Truden-Trodena, Altrei-Anterivo, Salurn-Salorno, Valfloriana, Grauno, and Sover.
