Capital Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps

The Capital Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps is a Division I drum and bugle corps based in Columbus, Ohio and founded in 1999, and is a member of Drum Corps International. One of three Division I corps in Ohio (the other two being the Bluecoats and Glassmen), Capital Regiment is the newest corps of that state and has rapidly been climbing the ranks of Division I since joining that division at the end of the 2002 season.

After spending two seasons in Division III, placing ninth and then sixth, Capital Regiment entered Division II competition placing twenty-first in their third season (Div I rankings). They have since climbed the ranks, and received their highest placement ever (fourteenth) in 2004. In the 2005 season, they placed 15th.

The corps director is Richard D. Bays.
