Capital Area Neighborhood (Harrisburg)

The Capital Area Neighborhood is a neighborhood in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This neighborhood is sometimes affectionately abbreviated as the CAN. It is delineated by Forster St. to the North, State St. to the South, 3rd St. to the East, and the Susquehanna River to the west. This neighborhood is adjacent to the Capital Complex of Pennsylvania and has easy access to the Central Business District (Downtown Harrisburg), which has been experiencing tremendous growth itself. The Capital Area Neighborhood is home to many beautiful houses, several small bistros, and a strong gay community.
