Capezio

Capezio is a privately held United States company specializing in dance apparel and specialized dance shoes including ballet pointe shoes. The company markets dance accessories worldwide, focusing on the USA and Europe. [1]
Capezio dates its establishment to 1887, when at the age of 17, Salvatore Capezio opened up a shop on Broadway and 39th Street in New York City across the street from the old Metropolitan Opera House under the title of 'The Theatrical & Historical Shoemaker.' At this time, the Statue of Liberty was less then a year old.
