The Cape Shoveler (Anas smithii) is a species of dabbling duck of the genus Anas. It is resident in South Africa, and uncommon further north in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and southern Angola.
The binomial of this bird commemorates the zoologist Andrew Smith.
