The Cape Feather is a fictional power-up first introduced in the video game Super Mario World. The Cape Feather will allow the Mario or Luigi to fly through the air using a yellow cape. Strategically timed presses of directions on the control pad are required for maximum altitude and length of time before the player returns to the ground.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario uses the cape to deflect projectiles.
