- 3rd Canadian Parliament - Can someone go over the list of MPs to make sure it is correct (right MP and party affiliation). I used the list of MPs afrom 2nd Canadiian Parliament as a template and I want to make sure I made all the necessary changes etc. Homey 12:15, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

- Talk:Rachel Marsden. This isn't actually an afd. An administrator has imposed deletion on the page, and has protected against recreation. The same has been done on Marsden-Donnelly harassment case. Readers may wish to express their views.
[edit] Requested moves & mergers
Please add new requests to the top of the list.
- Merge Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities with List of SARM divisions. Basically, the second one should be covered by the first one. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 18:29, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorel, Quebec → Sorel-Tracy, Quebec —(Discuss)— Proposing to merge the former into the latter, thus consolidating the article. —-dragfyre 20:53, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Requests for comment
Please add new requests to the top of the list.
- Cornwall, Ontario - Edit war brewing over this one; needs outside assistance: is a high school principal, even one who's remembered with unusual fondness by his former students, a valid addition to a list of famous/notable residents of the city? Bearcat 03:13, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- Township/Village article splits - What are people's thoughts about the case of towns that are split into a "township" portion and a more centralized "village" portion, e.g. Hatley, Quebec and Hatley, Quebec (township)? This happens often in rural areas and it seems to me it would make more sense to merge such articles into one article encompassing both village and township. Any thoughts? Comments can be left on my talk page. --dragfyre 14:40, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- Iqaluit, Nunavut --> Iqaluit? - Not yet making a formal move proposal, but I've initiated an informal discussion to solicit opinions as to whether we should keep the current title or move it to the undisambiguated title. Bearcat 23:35, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Population rankings of Canadian cities - This has just come up on Ottawa and may have been addressed elsewhere. There are currently three different lists ranking Canadian cities by size: List of the 100 largest metropolitan areas in Canada (rank by CMA), List of the 100 largest urban areas in Canada by population (rank by Statscan), and List of the 100 largest municipalities in Canada by population (rank by incorporated municipality). Once we get past Toronto and Montreal, they are all different. So what list should be used when we say that a given place is the "Xth" largest city in Canada? Eron 17:45, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- Canadian English and Canada - an editor, RyanRP, has been making a series of edits with regards to the history and influences of the language, and the ethnicity of the country, which strike me as being somewhat questionable. I'd like to get some additional input as he is determined to make changes. Thanks in advance. --Ckatzchatspy 09:56, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- Merge request: Canadian National Railway <--> Canadian National Railway Company: Should these be two separate articles or one? If one, which name should it be at? Bearcat 02:09, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
- Category talk:Counties and municipal districts of Alberta: A discussion just started regarding naming conventions on Wikipedia for counties and MDs in Alberta. Currently, the convention is to use identifying name first in the article name (i.e. Lethbridge County instead of County of Lethbridge). The decision for this is unclear. Please drop by with your two cents. --Kmsiever 19:23, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Dan Hill: There seems to be some recent confusion brewing as to whether him what inflicted "Sometimes When We Touch" on the world is or isn't the same Dan Hill who was once married to American country singer Faith Hill. Anybody know for sure? (The confusion extends into Googleworld, for what it's worth, so this is going to be a tricky one to research.) Bearcat 05:40, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Bécancour, Quebec: Re: the term "sector" — is there a better term to be used in this case? "Secteur" is the french term used, but the literal translation "sector" may not be clear enough. dragfyre 19:03, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Talk:CBC (disambiguation): Is Canadian Broadcasting Corporation such an overwhelmingly dominant meaning of this initialism that it should own the straight redirect CBC, or should the dab page be at the straight title? Let's be objective about this; it's not an anti-Canadian issue, but a legitimate question about predominance of what's being referred to by the acronym. Many of the links to CBC intending the Canadian broadcaster should really be pointed directly to CBC Radio One, CBC Radio Two or CBC Television rather than to the general corporate overview anyway. - A relatively new editor is really hung up on the term "Central Canada". Anyone want to join in the discussion? --Kmsiever 04:51, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Joe Volpe. Only a small thing this time. Should a Toronto Sun piece on limosine rides be used as a source. (The story was never covered in the respectable press.) CJCurrie 23:28, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- Under the Umbrella Tree. Whether to use Canadian spelling or American spelling on the page. -- Earl Andrew - talk 17:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- McGill Martlets to be merged into McGill Redmen - The female and male CIS teams at McGill respectively. -- Chabuk 00:34, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Quebec bashing. I'm a Quebecker, and I don't even understand half of what is in this article. Seems to read like some kind of manifesto, but I'm not sure I can figure out what's going on ... Nfitz 17:26, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- Talk:Canadian University Press - Are all the lists that make up the majority of this article encyclopedic? Or should they simply be removed. -- Chabuk 03:30, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Talk:Independent Task Force on North America - This needs a good NPOV/fact review; the related article "North American Union" was previously deleted after being falsely characterized as a hoax or conspiracy theory. There were certainly problematic edits to the other article, but the real issue here is keeping the fact separated from the fiction, not falsely implying that the whole thing is fiction. Bearcat 22:14, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- Anti-Chinese legislation in Canada merge into Chinese Immigration Act, 1923. Not sure where to post this on this page. Please add comments here: Talk:Chinese Immigration Act, 1923#Anti-Chinese legislation in Canada. Deet 03:34, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

- {{Canadian federal political parties}} USER:Durin has taken quite an offense to the Political Party logos in any number of templates used for Canadian Political parties, quoting fair use policy as a reason they can't be on templates. In my unprofessional opinion this seems drastic and silly. Personally I don't think any political parties object to their logo being used, on Wikipedia, just as logos are used on any number of blogging or news websites or newspapers or what have you. Anyways I think its time we figured this out. --Cloveious 16:29, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
