[edit] WikiProject Vancouver and the GVRD
To all WikiProject Vancouver participants: A question has been raised in the WikiProject discussion about whether the entire GVRD should be covered by WP Vancouver. I'd love to hear your input on this on the discussion page because I think it is a possibility despite the amount of workload involved.
Also, don't forget that there is a Yahoo Group for WP Vancouver [1] if you want to be involved in a possible Vancouver meetup. Thanks. :)
Also, welcome to the project! --Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK!. 01:42, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Schools NavBox for Vancouver
Good job on it. Looks like it took forever to do. :) Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 06:49, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I have been very busy for a while, and felt bad for not having contributed anything to the project . I am going to try to create my school (Point Grey) next, and hopefully work on the Port of Vancouver page. Canuck89 06:52, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it's not like a lot of other people contributed that much either, so you're on pace more or less :) ...and I'd love to see your Pt. Grey article (I usually pass by it on the 41 bus to UBC and have always wondered about the school). You probably already know, but I snapped a semi-crappy cell phone photo for use, available on the WikiProject page. You don't have to use it, but it's there if you do decide to. (On an interesting note, they were filming a movie there when I took that photo -- a short film called "Educated Guess.") Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 06:55, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, there have been many films and a few TV series filmed at Point Grey. I remember turning on the TV while on Vacation in Mexico, and seeing my school as the setting for the movie. By the way, how did you get your reply to post on my page and YOUR page at the same time? Canuck89 06:59, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- I work as a film extra part-time too, and it's neat when they film at schools. You get to brag to any friends attending that school :D ... as for replies on both pages, three words: Copy and paste. ;) Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 07:02, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Copy/Paste, eh? Well, thanks anyways. :-) Canuck89 07:05, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of football referees
Hi. Maybe we could list when they became internationals, if at all. Everything else would be covered in the articles themselves, but the list could probably be laid out more attractively. Mark272 19:25, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Your idea sounds good by me. Mark272 19:08, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Bentall
Go ahead and merge all of those Bentall towers. They certainly belong in one article. Canuck89 19:13, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Alright...But I'm not completely sure: are they collectively known as "Bentall Centre" or is it something else, like Bentall Towers? Do you know, by any chance? --Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 20:18, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Definetly Bentall Centre. http://one.bentallcentre.com/bentall/about/about.chml Canuck89 20:25, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll see what I can do then... Bentall Centre is already taken so it will need a disambig. name... --Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 20:31, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Or maybe not... it was earlier. Or maybe I'm not awake yet... --Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 20:31, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, it's now at Bentall Centre (Vancouver). Apparently, Bentall centre is taken by a UK structure so that'll need to be fixed. I'll get to it soon. --Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 20:50, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Point Grey Secondary
Just wondering, how's the Pt. Grey Secondary article coming along? :) Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 04:26, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, university applications. I remember the pain. Class of '04 here, so I'm not that far removed from high school. Good luck. If you get into UBC, maybe I'll run into you. :) Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 07:04, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'm in Arts, trying for an English lit major along with a minor in Undetermined. It's alright so far -- the only hassles so far are the faculty requirements. I have no problem with the English and literature requirements, but the science and language requirements are p*ssing me off. I'm 50% done my science and language but I'm sucking majorly at my science course right now (might re-take or choose another science if unsuccessful) and my language (taking German but considering a switch to French or Spanish). Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 07:09, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
- Tell me about it... English is the only subject I can ace (or almost ace) without even trying ot studying. Sciences? Forget about it. The only science I have any hope in is computer science (but I can't do programming, only multimedia, HTML, etc. -- online stuff). Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 07:18, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
