[edit] helpme
i need help on how to edit a category
- To add items to a category you do not edit the category page. Instead you add the category link to the bottom of the article you want to include. For example you place Category:Power Rangers episodes at the bottom of the article to add it to that category. Wikipedia:Category for more info.--Commander Keane 21:19, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Categories
Categories can have a lead like any article if you need to explain what kind of articles belong there if it's not obvious, but I suspect you were expecting the articles in the category to show up in the edit window. They don't. Articles are added to a category by adding to the bottom of the article you want to add (not the other way around). The syntax allows you to categorize by last name or not include a preceding "the" or "a" so it's all categorized alphabetically. See Help:Category and Wikipedia:Categorization for more information. - Mgm|(talk) 21:37, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] helpme
i still do not understand how to edit a category. So lets say the category I want to edit is Key Power Rangers Episodes. Some episodes are Fate of Lightspeed, Day of the Dino, etc. Say I want to add Broken Spell to this list, how can I do that?
- Hi please don't place the helpme as a heading, it doesn't render properly and omits the edit link for the section making it harder to reply. Simply go to the article you want added in the category and add to the text, normally this is done towards the bottom of the text, but doesn't have to be. --pgk(talk) 13:39, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Also mind your capitalization. It should be Key Power Rangers episodes. without the capital 'E'. - Mgm|(talk) 15:47, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] how
how do you add things to your user page? like if you have live journal or myspace or just cool things for your user page?
- Not sure what you mean, you can edit it just like any other page. If you want help designing your userpage, then that is beyond the scope of the helpme function, we help with basic editing with the aim of helping build the encyclopaedia. --pgk(talk) 14:32, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Userpage additions
If you click the edit button of someone's userpage, but don't actually edit it, you can see how someone did it. You are looking for Wikipedia:Babel. - Mgm|(talk) 15:46, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] pictures
can i use pictures for power rangers from Power Rangers Central.com?
[edit] Power Rangers
I want to know how to edit a box. Like Power Rangers by Era and Generation. If you want to know what i am talking about look up Mystic Force Rangers at the bottom of the article.
- The box at the bottom of Mystic Force Rangers is this template: Power Rangers Characters. The only thing special about a template is that it's included in a page, instead of being a page. Take a look at the template by clicking on it, and then clicking on the edit tab - don't click save until you've learned a little more, though! You can also learn how to edit Wikipedia pages by clicking on the "Help" from the Navigation section on this (and every) page. Then click on "Editing Wikipedia". (The exact thing that you're asking about is listing under "tables" in the tutorial.) Enjoy! Waitak 14:42, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

I need to know how to do 3 things
nominate an article for deletion put a spoiler warning and tag an article
- WP:DELETE should tell you what you need to know about deletion including how to nominate an article. Spoiler warnings can be inserted using the code Spoiler and I'm not sure what you mean "Tag an article", tag it as/for what? --pgk(talk) 17:37, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Operation Overdrive logo
Do not add the logo to the article for Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive. That article is sourced from a photobucket account, and is more than likely fake than official. Unless you have proof that the image is going to be the logo (used by Disney in official places) then do not add the image to the article. Ryūlóng 21:26, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Save the image, though, for next year if it is revealed to be the correct one. Do not base your proof off of fansites, though. Ryūlóng 21:37, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A possible final warning
As anyone can clearly see from the extensive amount of OrphanBot messages left on your user talk page that you have consistently uploaded images, but have not added any sort of copyright information. It would be extremely helpful if you were to do such when you uploaded such images, but it just appears that you have not learned anything from these messages. If you continue to upload images like this, they will continue to be deleted and you may be blocked for your actions. I can see that you are enthusiastic about the subjects of the images, but without copyright or licensing information, they cannot be used on Wikipedia. Ryūlóng 05:10, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
