[edit] Research

In reply to your comment on my talk page:

I'm glad to try to be more clear. First off, the work you've done so far is great, and it starts to get the Friends University aritcle in the right direction. I was a little concerned when you mentioned in your comment: My next task is to look up a local newspaper article that talks about the purchase of the land...'. That's starting to sound like more indepth research then Wikipedia typically suggests. I am refering here to: Wikipedia:No original research. You might take a minute and scan over that policy page. It's not clear to me that you are doing original research, but it's starting to sound like you might be getting close. Before you plunged into a great deal more effort, I thought I'd provide the warning. That said, if FU lacks a good accounting of their history they might appericiate someone writting up the research for them to publish. The paper could then serve as a source for Wikipedia. Once you've read the page above, you'll have as much background as I have, and after that it's a judgement call. I'll trust your judgement, I just wanted to make sure you could make an informed judgement. --Ahc 16:54, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Just a few words to thank you a lot for your help, I'll wait a bit in case someone finds the miracle solution but I think I'll just do as you did. Thanks again! -- lucasbfr talk 20:42, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
