Cand.mag.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Candidatus/Candidata magisterii (cand.mag.) is an academic degree that was awarded by universities in Norway before the provisions of the Bologna process were implemented. The cand.mag. degree was the first degree awarded, and required three and a half years (Faculties of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) to four years (Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences) to complete. As a result of implementing the Bologna process, it was replaced by the Bachelor's degree, which requires three years to complete.
