Canal San Bovo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 50 km east of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,651 and an area of 125.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Canal San Bovo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Zortea, Prade, Cicona, Gobbera, Caoria, Ronco, and Lausen.
Canal San Bovo borders the following municipalities: Predazzo, Ziano di Fiemme, Siror, Siror, Pieve Tesino, Mezzano, Castello Tesino, Imer, Cinte Tesino, Sovramonte, and Lamon.
