Canadian Finals Rodeo

The Canadian Finals Rodeo is the national championships of Canadian rodeos. The CFR has been held in Edmonton, Alberta every year since 1974 and boasts the richest purse in Canadian rodeo with C$1,000,000 awarded in 2004 & C$1,158,000 in 2006. The 2006 CFR began in November 8 and will end on November 12. In 2004, 94,861 fans took in the rodeo action setting a new record for the highest ever overall attendance in CFR history.
