From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Canadian Children's Museum (French: Le Musée canadien des enfants) is a self-contained museum within the Canadian Museum of Civilization, in Gatineau, Quebec. It opened when the Museum of Civilization moved into its new building on June 29, 1989. It aims to introduce the museum's collection of over 15,000 artifacts to children up to 14 years of age. An expansion in 1994 expanded the size of the museum to over 2,000 m² and the museum welcomed its seven millionth visitor on June 7, 2006.[1]
