Canadia Bank

Canadia Bank (not to be confused with the country, Canada) is the largest local bank in Cambodia. The bank was established in 1991 and became privatized in 1998. It has 10 branches across the country.

Canadia provides services such as:
- Bank Account - A bank account can be opened so long as it has an initial deposit of $100.00 USD. The account can be in USD, Thai Baht or Khmer Riel.
- Gold Deposit - Gold bars in 1 chi, 5 chi, 1 Tael, 5 Tael and 10 Tael. It is the only gold deposit account available in Cambodia. Interest is calculated in Gold value.

- 11 November 1991 - Canadia Bank is established under the name "Canadia Gold and Trust Corporation Limited"
- 19 April 1993 - The name of the then corporation is changed to "Canadia Bank LTD"
- 16 December 2003 - The name is changed from "Canadia Bank LTD" to "Canadia Bank PLC"
