Campy Russell

Michael Campanella Russell (born January 12, 1952 Jackson, Tennessee), nicknamed Campy, is a former professional basketball player in the NBA. He played the forward position for the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks for nine years (1975-1982, 1985) and played in the 1979 NBA All-Star Game.

Before joining the NBA, Russell was a star player at the University of Michigan.

Today, Russell works in the Cavaliers' front office as Director of Alumni Relations. He is also a basketball analyst for WOIO and WUAB TV in Cleveland, as well as co-host of the Cavaliers' pregame show (along with Brian Duffy) on WUAB.
