There is a special day that occurs once a summer, usually in July. This is called "Yom Sport" and is Camp Ramah in Canada's Colour War. This is organized by the oldest Aidah, Alonim, and Campers have the chance to either be a captain, a judge, or a "rosh", or head in english. Captains and "Roshes" must try out, but judges are chosen by the staff. When Yom Sport was first created, there were two teams, but through the years it changed to three teams, and finally in the year 2000, the first unit attempted to have four teams. Throughout the day, campers in younger units participate in activities such as swimming, track and field, and sports. The day concludes with a marathon that involoves campers from each unit completing tasks until they reach the final task. The final task changes every year but is usually very difficult. Overall, this day is fun filled and spirited and is the highlight of most camper's summers.
