Camp Nawaka
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Camp Nawaka is a non-profit co-ed residential summer camp located in the Berkshires, East Otis, MA. It runs programs for children between the ages of 8 and 16. The camp is owned and run by Camp Fire USA. It is a relatively small camp of around 40 staff members and up to 120 campers centered around its own 20 acre private pond, Larkum pond. The camp runs from the end of June until the end of August with out of season facility rental available. All campers who attend Camp Nawaka automatically become members of Camp Fire USA when they register. Campers aged 13-15 may sign up for the "Senior Camp" program, where they sleep in tents and often travel outside of the camp. Another option is "Adventure Camp," where campers sleep in cabins or dorms (for younger campers.) Often noted as the best place ever created, and everyone who goes there usually has a tribute in their AIM profiles up until the next summer starts.
