Camino Ruiz
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Camino Ruiz is a road in northern Mira Mesa, San Diego, California that was once planned to be a major connecting route between North County and Miramar. It was also called the Son of 680 after Select Arterial 680 which was deleted.
The road has been broken and portions were deleted by local opposition to building a bridge across Rancho Peñasquitos Preserve. The road is split into Camino Ruiz and Camino Del Sur on opposite sides of Los Peñasquitos Canyon. The city of San Diego is building a park at the north end at Calle Cristobal in Mira Mesa.
