Camilo Ponce

Camilo Ponce Enríquez (January 31, 1912–September 13, 1976) was an Ecuadorian political figure. He served as the president of Ecuador between 1956 and 1960.
In 1951 Camilo Ponce Enríquez, along with Sixto Durán Ballén founded the Movimiento Social Cristiano (MSC), which would later become the Partido Social Cristiano (PSC). In 1956 Ponce won the presidential elections and named Durán Ballén minister of public works.
