Cameron Cartio

Cameron Cartio, also known as Cameron, is a singer/musician/songwriter. Cameron was born in Tehran, Iran. When Cartio was eight years old, his family left Tehran to spend a year in Barcelona, after which they moved to Malmö (in southern Sweden). Cartio and his family ended up in Rosengård. He moved to Sweden in 1987. He made his debut in Melodifestivalen 2005 with his song Roma. The song was written in a language he made himself.

- Cartio's brother Alec Cartio owns the company Atlantis Pictures which produce musicvideos for e.g. Arash.
- Cartio sings in different languages, including Persian, English, and Spanish.
- Cartio wrote the song "Henna" for his ex-girlfriend because she loved Cheb Khaled's music. Cartio wanted to thank her for their former relationship and asked Cheb Khaled to perform in the duet.
