Camber, East Sussex

Camber is a seaside village in the English county of East Sussex, near to Rye, grid reference TQ965185. Its beach is called Camber Sands. Camber Castle is near but not in Camber itself, being the other side of the River Rother. The civil parish of Camber has a population of 1,220, and includes the historic town of Winchelsea. Each year (in November), the Rhythm Riot Festival, the biggest rock 'n roll festival in Europe, holds in Camber.

It was previously connected to Rye by the Rye and Camber Tramway.
