Camaragibe (population 144,700) is a city in northeastern Brazil, in the State of Pernambuco. It lays near Recife at 8.00 ° South, 35.04° West.

Currently, Camaragibe is run by João Lemos(From the political party PCdoB, The communist party of Brazil) and Denivaldo Freire(The Vice-mayor).
