Cal Shannon was born July 28, 1989 in England. He is currently studying Maths, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in Antrim Grammar School, Northern Ireland.

After being born in England, Cal Shannon moved to Germany with his family when he was only a few months old. His parents; Anne Shannon, and Andrew Shannon, were both involved in the British Army, and so the family were stationed in an Army base off Lemgo. After only 2 years in Germany, Cal was on the move again. This time to Cyprus. There the family were stationed near Lefkosia. He attended his first school there, Beringeria Primary School, where he was one of very few English speaking children.

At the age of 6, the family were called to Northern Ireland. Here Cal was finally able to settle into a stable school enviroment, and begin his studies. Because of the traveling, and the fact that he was taught in a Cypriate school, Cal was behind in his education by several years. Joining P3, with an academic level just over that of P1 meant Cal was at a disadvantage to the other pupils.
