Photo taken of patient, who will remain anonymous, treated at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center: College of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee. Image shows the mandibular teeth after one side of the mouth was cleaned by scaling and root planing and allowed to heal for a few weeks. Calculus is visible on the patient's right side, which had yet to receive treatment.
