Calimehtar is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth. Calimehtar became the thirtieth King of Gondor in 1856 T.A. after his father Narmacil II was killed by the Wainriders.

He gained fame by avenging his fathers death in a battle at Dagorlad, the help of the rebelling people of Rhovanion (under Easterling rule at that time) was essential for the great victory Gondor won.

He died in 1936 Third Age and was succeeded by his son Ondoher.
