Calheta de Nesquim

Calheta de Nesquim is a parish in the district of Lajes do Pico in the Azores. The population in 2001 is 417, its density is 26.3/km² and the area is 15.85 km². It is the second smallest parish, 7 people larger than Riberinha and the second smallest parish in Lajes do Pico. It contains a gallery full of famous whalers because of its former famous whaling industry.
