Cai Zhong (蔡中) was an officer of the Three Kingdoms Period, and cousin to Cai Mao. During a certain ploy, Zhong, along with Cai He both surrendered to Wu. Zhou Yu however saw through this false desertion from Wei. Following this, Zhou Yu ordered Gan Ning to slay Cai Zhong, which followed after being forced to lead the army to the camp of Cao Cao.
