Cadeo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 130 km northwest of Bologna and about 14 km southeast of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,601 and an area of 38.6 km².[1]

The municipality of Cadeo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Roveleto, Saliceto, and Fontana Fredda.

Cadeo borders the following municipalities: Carpaneto Piacentino, Cortemaggiore, Fiorenzuola d'Arda, Pontenure.
