I have lived in Oro Valley for 13+ years, and have enjoyed walking in the Canada del Oro. After monsoon thunderstorms in the late summer, the CDO wash becomes a "big muddy river", since it is fairly wide in some parts. For the majority of land area, the wash is full of trees, making the viewer wonder if they are really in a desert.
