C.B.K. Beachcroft

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

C.B.K. Beachcroft was the captain of the gold medal winning Great Britain cricket team at the 1900 Summer Olympics, the only time cricket has been an Olympic sport. In the only match of the Olympics against France, he scored 23 runs in the first innings and 54 in the second. Aside from the Olympics, little is known of him, except that he played for Exeter and a team called Starcross in 1900.
