Shri. C.F. Thomas is the Chairman of the Kerala Congress. and is a Minister in the Kerala State in South India and holds the Portfolios: Registration, Rural Development, Khadi and Village Industries.

C.F.Thomas was born on 30th July 1939 as the son of C.T.Francis and Annamma Francis at Changanassery. He was a teacher in S.B. High School, Changanacherry (1962-1980).

He entered politics in 1956 as an activist of K.S.U the student’s wing of Indian National Congress. He joined Kerala Congress in 1964 and is a founder member of the party. He was elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1980, 1982, 1987, 1991, 1996 , 2001 and 2006. He represents the Changanassery constituency to which he was elected for the seventh successive term. He is married to Kunjamma Thomas and has a son and 2 daughters.
